Lissette Diaz, Esq.
Lissette Diaz concentrates the bulk of her practice in the area of family law and estate planning. Her family law practice includes representing clients seeking a divorce, custody, modifications to parenting time and child support orders, emancipation and adoption. Her estate planning practice is dedicated to assisting clients through proper estate planning for them and their families, including wills, living wills, trusts, special needs trusts and Medicaid planning.
Prior to joining Ricci Fava & Bagley, Ms. Diaz was a sole practitioner with an office in Bergen County, New Jersey. She has served as Public Defender for the City of West New York, Tenant Advocate for the City of Union City, and as an Unemployment Appellate Hearing Officer for the State of Florida. Ms. Diaz also worked as a Staff Attorney at Essex-Newark Legal Services, where she represented low-income residents of Essex County.
Lissette Diaz earned her J.D. at Seton Hall University School of Law in 2007, where she attended as a Distinguished Public Interest Scholar. She earned her B.A. in Justice Studies with a Child Advocacy concentration from Montclair State University in 2004. Ms. Diaz is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association and the Hudson County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
